Respiratory therapists manage both inpatients and outpatients with respiratory problems and also provide diagnostics for cardiac and neurology patients.
- Electrocardiogram – Records the electrical impulses traveling through the heart.
- Electroencephalogram – Detects abnormalities in the brain waves or electrical activity of the brain.
- Pulmonary Function Tests – Measure lung function to provide information about the amount of air that a person’s lungs can hold, and how effectively the lungs work.
- Stress Test - A noninvasive procedure performed on a treadmill to help diagnose heart disease.
Our staff is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Each of these tests has specific instructions that the patient must follow in order to get accurate results, so tests must be scheduled with our department ahead of time by your physician.
